Once the Super 8 film is exposed, the image recorded on it cannot be changed because it is a photgraphic film and not a video tape. Damnation is an in-camera edited films, which means that the sequence of scenes that you see is exactly as it was exposed on the film…mistakes and all! The film was not edited after it was developed. Only the credits and sound were added later.

For more information on in-camera edited films and having a go yourself, check the awesome Straight 8.

And dont forget the brilliant Cambridge Super 8 International Film Festival, a Cambridge based film festival dedicated to the Super 8 film format.
