Best Of Funky Flamingo TV: Friday 5th June 2009: Screening 17:30
Funky Flamingo TV launched in December 2007 as the world’s very first internet TV station run by and for people with disabilities. Since it’s launch, FFTV has provided film training for over 200 disabled people across the county. FFTV has made over 20 short films including animations and Video Art and has also produced live international web interviews and live event broadcasts from The Junction. This programme showcases the diverse talent of young disabled people from all over the country as part of our national Youth Disability Awards programme which was broadcast live from the Cambridge Arts Picturehouse in December 2008. We will also be featuring work from our resident young film-making group which meets regularly to make new films and receive regular training.
